Who We Are, How We Work

Our founders have years of dog and cat rescue, dog training with ASPCA, DAS and PetSmart, allowing an easy path to know how to treat your fur babies like royalty.

And like our founders, our care takers of Lux Paws have a minimum of 2 yrs of training with an accredited organization, providing peace of mind to our customers.

A meet and greet occurs before any services are provided, ensuring a good relationship from the start. We personalize the service based on your dog’s personality, quirks, likes/dislikes and your bond.

We will schedule your appointments and send follows ups following the meet and greet.

Our beloved fur babies

BUDDY

BUDDY: Rescued at 1yr old, went over the rainbow
at 13 yrs old.

Buddy was a soul dog. He choose us on a cloudy day at the local shelter. We went there to meet a pitbull named Cinnamon, but she was gone. So, we went outside to see dogs in the outdoor fences and saw a small grey dog. As we bent down to pet this dirty, grungy dog. He then pulled my sleeve when I put my hand into the fenced area to pet him. As we stood to leave, he cried, like a child. We went back and bent down and he tugged on my sleeve again, trying to pull me into the fenced area. That was it, we adopted him that day. He was a character, coming to yoga classes, walking on the treadmill, doing spins on his hind legs. He was a special soul.

ZOEY

Zoey: Rescued at 4yrs old, current fur baby at 7 yrs young!

Zoey was going to be killed the next day. The call from the rescue was desperate, pleading given my background and her stranger danger. We was already caring for a dying parent, and had just lost Buddy 2 weeks earlier. I was not planning on getting another dog for a while, yet she needed me. we felt it. She wouldn’t let any near her, cowarding in the corner, meaning she had no chance of being adopted…that meant death. We decided we would get her in the morning. Her ride home was cautious, but within a day she was sleeping on my bed. Since then she has grown to be the most affectionate, best girl we’ve ever had. Ever heard a dog purrr? She does and it makes our hearts hum.
